:
The responsibilities of this job include: maintaining and repairing PCs, installing software, delivering and picking up equipment, trouble-shooting PC problems, phone support to customers, setting up PCs on the network, taking equipment inventory, and helping with other tasks in the office.

This position requires a person who has good people skills, works well in a team environment, is willing to do what they are asked of them and follows directions well, is self-motivated, is knowledgeable about computers and how they work, and has had some experience in installing software on computers.
(i.e., at the beginning of the semester)
The postulant will be trained in all office procedures. Some of the areas included are:
- setting up and delivering PCs to customers and RMA’s
- asking questions of office staff first, proceeding second
- installing hardware
- building systems
- setting up PC networking and
- using the IntechTech system correctly
- installing legal software on computers
- trouble-shooting hardware problems
- tracking their work
- using the office data bases
This position does not involve supervisory roles of people. It does involve keeping the work area neat and clean.
Special work hours outside of regular business hours:
Sometime, this person is required to help with installation and configurations. This could involve some work on Saturday as well as some added time during the week. |
